Character Profile Research

Character profiles from other news channel websites seem to just give a brief background into the reporter's and presenter's career at that particular news channel with very little other information. A brief career overview is always given showing positions the reporter/presenter have held, promotions gain, famous stories covered and sometimes awards won. A common occurence in the profiles is also previous jobs as journalist and news articles they may also write for news papers. In some cases such as Channel 4 news, a blog is given to each reporter/presenter to further expand on their backgorund and history if they wish to do so.
Most news channels give profiles on their reporters/presenters, especially the local news programmes such as "Look North" and "Calendar". Channel 4 news also have profiles on their reporters in high positions such as cheif correspondant etc. In the cases were profiles are not given I've had to research unnoficial reporter profiles which seem to follow a similar pattern from the official Channel 4 profiles aswell as giving accurate information when compared to the official profiles.

Profile examples;
Channel 4 - Jon Snow
Channel 4 - Krishnan Guru-Murthy
Channel 4 - Faisal Islam
